• Steaming: opens the pores to prepare them for the extraction process.
•  Blackhead removal:  Milia, Dirt and other impurities removed deep within your pores by using an extraction tool. 
•  Massage: enhances blood circulation restoring collagen to your face and stimulate oil secretion (important for areas that were blocked prior to extractions).
•  High Frequency: If you do not have over-active thyroid problems, high blood pressure, or metal fillings etc. This is used during a facial to further stimulate blood circulation, disinfect the skin, shrink acne, increase glandular activity, decrease enlarged pores and increase collagen due to blood stimulation.

 Aromatherapy facials: Have the same benefits as above with the added benefit of lymphatic drainage. Lymphatic drainage is a natural function your body uses to rid itself of toxins through the glands. This procedure is done with a  machine that uses suction to give your lymphatic system a kick start to regulate toxin drainage (eg:   sweating and urinating). The suction will also stimulate collagen production. The use of Lymphatic drainage will encourage the lymphatic system to function normally.

Note: Having the occasional facial once or twice per year without a proper skin routine at home will not give you much noticeable improvement on your skin.

For people prone to break-outs: You may notice few blemishes after having a facial. This is because during extraction process, the oils and toxins that have been trapped within your pores for so long (by blackheads and dead skin), which causes the pores to become inflamed. Scheduled visits for extractions and proper care at home will lessen the occurrences of acne, however hormones and certain medications make it impossible to rid the odd blemish from occurring all together.
